050-24677
The church, built in the eleventh century, has a facade with a marble facing and two-tone inlaid polychrome derived from the Romanesque-Pisan while the upper part was built later, is brick.
To the left rises the octagonal bell tower, and slightly leaning over that incorporated other buildings.
Attributed to Nicola Pisano, it is built with a spiral staircase due, according to recent research, the geometric studies of the great mathematician Leonardo Pisano Fibonacci. The bell tower is one of the most important architectural works of the last Middle Ages.
