Around the middle of the twelfth century the architect erected this monument Diotisalvi octagon for the Order of the Hospital of St. John. In the last century was restored by removing all of the galleries.
The church is a matter of double windows with a higher, more portals of entry and with a high octagonal dome based on a drum of the same geometric shape. Here he worked Ubaldesca Santa Taccini which is the patron saint of the Order of the Knights of Malta.
It is flanked by a brick bell tower where the church stands the author’s signature.
